Kevin Burns will deliver the opening keynote address at WorkSafe New Brunswick's 2015 Health and Safety Conference in Fredericton. The conference’s aim is to improve workplace health and safety practices by educating and reporting on current health and safety issues and trends.

Over 500 attendees will attend this year's conference. Kevin's presentation will focus on safety leadership as safety is fast becoming the new leadership.

According to Kevin Burns, "When people stand up and become leaders in their own lives, they take pride in all they do. When pride becomes a personal driver, self-preservation follows. That's when people buy into safety for themselves."

The conference is open to: employers, workers, managers, joint health and safety committee members, contractors, human resource professionals, health care personnel, forestry workers, municipal workers, contact centre staff, social workers, educators, health and safety professionals, emergency responders, lawyers, members of construction, agricultural and manufacturing industries, and everyone who is concerned about health and safety in their workplace.
